Water 01 - WA01
Two-Component Epoxy Coating
All ships have water tanks to store potable drinking water. And while the tank size and type can vary, the requirements are always the same: to provide your crew with clean, fresh water.
This means the tank has to be coated with a certified potable water coating that protects the steel tank from corrosion and keeps the water inside clean.
Abrasion 01 - AB01
Two-Component Epoxy Coating
Two-part polyurethanes yield the most durable, scratch resistant finish. The hardness means it is not flexible, and will crack if not applied to rigid substrates.
Only two part polyurethane topsides yield the highest gloss and most durable finish that may hold up as much as five years. Scratch and ding repairs to polyurethanes are visible.
Thermo 600 - TH600
Single-Component Silicone Coating
A single component, high temperature silicone coating suitable for use up to 600°C(1100°F), ideal for the protection of flare stacks, funnels and exhausts.
For maximum corrosion protection should be applied over a zinc silicate primer.
Other Coatings
These coatings provide specific functionalities to the surface coated: food or freshwater preservation, protection against chemical agents, abrasion resistance, antiskid properties, thermal resistance (funnels, heated lines), etc.
FOOD CONTACT COATINGS
Coatings may be safely used as the food-contact surface of areas intended for transporting, or holding food or fresh water.
ANTISKID COATINGS
While Non-skid coatings are grouped under finish coatings, they are not used on hulls and generally are applied only on decks and other areas where traction is a consideration.
AntiSkid 01 - AS1
Single-Component Chlorinated Rubber Finish
An easy to apply, fast-drying, tough anti-slip coating for all types of environments. Antiskid coatings improve safe work practices and help reduce on-the-job injuries.
Can be used on interior and exterior floors, walkways and decks in environments exposed to heavy pedestrian and medium traction activity.
ANTIABRASION COATINGS
While Non-skid coatings are grouped under finish coatings, they are not used on hulls and generally are applied only on decks and other areas where traction is a consideration.
Thermo 200 - TH200
Single-Component Aluminium Coating
Temperature resistant finish based upon modified resins, suitable for use up to 200°C(390°F).
Can be used in both new construction and maintenance situations over suitably primed substrates.
THERMAL RESISTANCE COATINGS
Heat resistant coatings provide color stable corrosion protection to hot surfaces in highly corrosive environments while providing a decorative finish to most metal surfaces.
